🦃 Why I Think This Recipe Is Awesome
✔️ Crispy & Juicy – The air fryer locks in moisture while crisping up the skin.
✔️ 4 Simple Ingredients – Just oil, spice, smoked paprika, and turkey wings.
✔️ Perfect for Parties – Make a big batch, toss them in sauces, and serve like wings!
✔️ Great Affordable Meal Option – They are typically cheaper than chicken wings and have more meat on them.
🛒 Ingredients For This Recipe
- Turkey wings – Usually abundant around the holidays, that’s when I like to buy quite a few and put them in the freezer. However, they’re not totally non-existent the rest of the year, you just have to keep an eye out for them, or, ask your butcher for them.
- Oil – This is to brush on the wings before seasoning. Any oil works, but I like to use avocado oil.
- Montreal Chicken Spice – I love this spice because it has so many herbs and spices that work so well together, and it goes with so many things.
- Smoked paprika – It adds just a little hint of smoke. But if you know me, you know I say this in all my recipes, a little goes a long way, so make sure you adjust to taste.

🔥 How to Make Turkey Wings Extra Crispy
- Pat the wings dry before adding oil and seasoning—moisture is the enemy of crispiness!
- Cook in a single layer so the hot air circulates properly.
- If you want extra crunch, increase the temp to 400°F for the last 5 minutes.
❄️ Reheating Leftovers Without Drying Them Out
No one wants sad, dried-out turkey wings! Here’s how to reheat them like a pro:
- Air Fryer: Heat at 350°F for 5-7 minutes until crispy again.
- Oven: Wrap in foil and bake at 325°F for 10-12 minutes.
- Microwave: Not ideal, but if you have no other way to reheat them, cover them with a damp paper towel and heat in short bursts.

Notes
1. Patting the wings dry with a paper towel first is a great tip for getting a crispy turkey wing when serving. Removing the extra moisture will help get them super crispy while cooking.
If you don't want to brush oil over them to save calories, try just spritzing them with cooking oil instead, after patting them dry.
2. It's always a good idea not to layer the wings on top of each other during cooking. A little bit of layering here or there is not a big deal, but if you're trying to air fry a bunch of wings like they're in a deep fryer basket, it just won't work. They won't get crispy because there's not enough air circulation, and they will just get hot and steam in the air fryer basket instead.
3. If you want extra crispiness, try increasing the heat to 400 for the last few minutes of air frying.
